About Us

Our Story

Our story begins with the chance meeting of two pioneers , Nora and Gabriella, at a course and conference for healthcare leaders in Tel Aviv. Although they were from the same country, they had not realized the deep commonalities between them until they discovered their shared passion for sustainability and the health impacts of climate change.

One evening, after a lively discussion over dinner, they found themselves in a bar near a famous wall art that read, “Where there’s a dream, there’s a way.” It was then that they decided to create a foundation that would promote sustainable healthcare practices.

Within a year, Nora and Gabriella began teaching at the medical university in Budapest, inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals to consider sustainability in their work. Soon after, their vision became a reality and the foundation was established.

Today, the foundation continues to be driven by the passion and commitment of the founders and new members. We strive to create a more sustainable healthcare system, one that benefits both people and the planet.

We are driven by values

At our sustainable healthcare foundation, we prioritize three core values: Environmental Stewardship, Social Responsibility, Collaboration

Environmental Stewardship: We are committed to minimizing the impact of healthcare operations on the environment. We achieve this by implementing sustainable practices that promote responsible resource use.

Social Responsibility: We believe in our social responsibility to promote equitable access to sustainable healthcare services and resources. We are also dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of our communities.

Collaboration: Collaboration is at the heart of our foundation. We work closely with stakeholders across the healthcare industry, including patients, healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and the broader community, to identify and implement sustainable solutions that can drive positive change. We offer a platform for all stakeholders.

Nature is big, man is small; the quality and level of human life has always depended on man’s relation to nature, and on the measure, in which he is able to understand nature and use its forces for his advantage. –Albert Szent-Györgyi
